Dr. Jue Liu is now Professor of College of Veterinary Medicine Yangzhou University and was Director of the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences from 2015 to 2020. He received a B.S. from Hunan Agricultural University in 1989, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from China Agricultural University in 1994 and 2000, respectively. He also served as a Visiting Scientist (2000-2002) and Research Fellow (2002-2006) at The National University of Singapore. He has published over 50 pieces of international peer-reviewed publications. His current research interests are pathogen-host interactions, pathogenesis, diagnostics, and vaccines for control of poultry and pig viruses such as avian metapneumovirus, infectious bursal disease virus, and porcine circoviruses.
