Currently also serving as President of World's Poultry Science Association, Chairman of Animal Genetics and Breeding Branch of Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, and Committee member of China National Commission of Animal Genetic Resources and Leader of Poultry Division. He is also the associate editor of Poultry Science, BMC Genomics, Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology, and other academic journals.Mainly conducting research on poultry genomics and genetics, breeding fornew varieties of egg-type and meat-type chickens, and poultry production systems.
